Hindustan Nava-Ratna Ring
With emeralds, rubies, and amethysts, this ring from our Hindustan collection replicates a nava-ratna, a jewel with a traditional arrangement of nine gemstones. Combined in a single ornament, the stones become a powerful amulet with its magical history deeply connected to Hindu cosmology and beliefs.
The nava-ratna is a symbol of the universe and represents the celestial relationship between the planets contained within it. Each of the nine gemstones is associated with a planet, and each planet represents a god or goddess. Uniting all nine in a single piece was supposed to bestow the wearer with great power.
The sides of the ring are adorned with details in yellow gold, and the silver has undergone an oxidation process to turn it black on the surface.
