A peculiar feature of this Batak Toba ring is the playful movement. The outside is abundantly decorated with Singa motifs and turns all the way around between your fingers. The Singa in this piece is less apparent than in other jewellery, but you can spot its face when looked at closely. The smooth movement of the inner domed ring between the two outer rails is a master work of our silversmiths.
