Silver Weaving Ornate Clasp Ring

A different kind of silver ring, inspired by imposing bracelets. The snake chain weaving is around 8 millimetres wide and 4 millimetres thick. Each clasp has a different adornment on top. As all of eThnoPur's pieces, they have been handmade with elementary tools, demonstrating the ingenuity and skill of our ethnic smiths.

They stand in a long heritage of silver- and goldsmiths. In traditional India, it was often impossible to know the maker, as jewellery did not carry any identifying marks. Among other reasons, this may be due to the fact that in Indian society in general, people aimed to carry out their occupation to the best of their ability to the benefit of their clientele and the praise of the gods.
