Small Timor Ring with Gold Details

This intricate Timor silver ring has been extensively adorned with s-shaped ornaments, small beads, and wonderful blue sapphires of different hues. The ornaments are patiently applied by hand, giving each ring the smith's personal signature.

It is approximately 5 millimetres wide, its design is repeated all around the outside and inside of the ring, with slight modifications for a more comfortable fit. You choose which pattern you wish to wear upwards.

One of our classics, it has been inspired by Tetum Jewellery from the islands of Timor. There is a long jewellery tradition on this island. It is believed that its geometric decoration and spirals, called laku, stem from patterns of the Bronze age patterns and were introduced into Timor in the first millenium.
